The Tradition of Presenting Role Models of Quran Memorizers<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
The YAHQI Islamic Boarding School continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing a strong and noble generation of Quranic scholars. One consistent step is to directly invite inspirational figures from among those who have memorized the Quran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After previously welcoming Aida (1st Place in the 2018 Indonesian Hafidz Competition) and Aqeela (1st Place in the 2021 Indonesian Hafidz Competition), now it is the turn of Ukhti Royyana, a finalist in the 2025 Indonesian Hafidz Competition, to be present among the YAHQI students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Meaningful Sunday<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
Sunday, May 11, 2025, was a day full of joy and blessings at the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School. Ukhti Royyana was present with her beloved family: her mother, father, and older brother\u2014who has also memorized 30 chapters and mastered the Ten Qiraat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite still being in third grade, Royyana has already memorized 15 chapters of the Quran. Her perseverance and love for the Quran are a lasting example for her students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simple Family, Noble Ideals<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
What's most inspiring is Royyana's family background. Her mother and father didn't come from a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) or formal religious education. However, with strong determination and constant prayer, they succeeded in guiding their children to become Quran memorizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a sharing session, Umi Royyana shared her struggles guiding her children from home. With patience and loving closeness, she accompanied her children as they memorized the Quran from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Key to Success: Persistence and Regular Practice<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
Umi Royyana shared several simple but meaningful practices: getting used to tahajjud from an early age, accompanying daily murojaah, creating a Qur'anic home atmosphere, and increasing prayer and faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Royyana herself is used to waking up at night to pray tahajjud. \"Umi always wakes me up and accompanies me,\" she said innocently\u2014but it touched the hearts of her listeners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Shockingly Plain Answer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
In the question and answer session, a student asked, \"What is Ukhti Royyana's motivation for memorizing the Qur'an?\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a calm face, Royyana answered: \"To become Allah's family.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
That simple answer silenced the room for a moment. Nothing is more beautiful than a child's sincere intention to draw closer to God through the Quran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Umi Royyana also said, \"Be steadfast. Be confident. Once you're part of God's family, there's nothing to fear. God will protect and guide our lives.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Close and Real Inspiration<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
This activity is a concrete manifestation of the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School's commitment to presenting inspirational figures for the students \u2014 life role models who can be seen, greeted, and emulated directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
