Exactly 40 days after the new students' departure, the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School held a sambangan (visiting) event\u2014a special time for parents to relieve their longing and witness their daughters' progress during their time at the boarding school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Riyadhah and Character Building<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first 40 days, the students are not allowed to go home, be visited, or even be phoned. This period is called riyardhah\u2014an exercise in patience and self-control aimed at developing mental strength and developing new character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this crucial period, students are fully focused on adapting to Islamic boarding school life. They are trained to be independent, patient, and self-sufficient, preparing them for the long journey of seeking knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Abuya's Moral Training and Message<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to mental training, students are also trained in manners and behavioral habits. They learn polite language, the discipline of waking up early, developing a successful mindset and the courage to move forward, and even practicing public speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abuya always reminds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cMake your parents happy with your enthusiasm for studying at the Islamic boarding school.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This message becomes an important guideline, fostering determination so that every step they take is a form of devotion to their parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Special Offering from New Students<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As a token of gratitude, the new students prepared a special offering for their parents. The entire event\u2014from the MC, welcome speeches, and even the song and poetry performance\u2014was performed by the students themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This confident performance captivated the audience. Many parents shed tears of joy at the transformation in their daughters, while also expressing pride in their resilience through the challenging 40 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Proud Family Moment<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The sambangan (visiting) agenda wasn't just a social gathering, but also tangible evidence of the success of the early development at the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School.
