YAHQI Students Go Global: Participating in the CAYE Program in Singapore and Malaysia

For the fifth time, YAHQI students have once again demonstrated their presence on the international stage. For the fifth time, YAHQI students had the opportunity to experience valuable experiences abroad. This time, Ukhti Annisa was selected to participate in the prestigious Changemaker Youth ASEAN Excursion (CAYE) program, which took place from January 3-7, 2025, in Singapore and Malaysia.

Sharpening Potential in Neighboring Countries

The CAYE program is more than just a trip. It's designed to broaden participants' horizons through a variety of inspiring activities, such as:

University Visit – Visiting renowned campuses, including:

  • National University of Singapore (NUS)
  • Universiti Malaya (UM)
  • Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
  • Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL)
  • Universiti Selangor (UNISEL)

📍 Company Visit – See firsthand the dynamics of the working world in various well-known companies.

Youth Project & Competition – Participate in youth projects and innovative competitions.

Cultural Learning & Country Exploration – Explore and understand local culture in Singapore and Malaysia.

Networking Session – Interact and build networks with young people from various countries.

Santri Can!

Sister Annisa's departure abroad marks the fifth time YAHQI students have gone abroad, proving that they can contribute to the global stage. This trip is not just a casual getaway, but also a meaningful life experience. YAHQI Islamic Boarding School equips its students with various essential skills to support them in facing the international world, such as public speaking, leadership, and foreign language proficiency (English, Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese).

Looking to the Future with Excitement

This program is not just a journey, but a major step towards a brighter future. By continuously honing skills, building networks, and broadening global perspectives, we hope that more students will have similar opportunities to develop and bring honor to their Islamic boarding schools internationally. Students can go global!
