Special Visit from the Consulate General of Japan

On October 10, 2024, the Islamic Boarding School for the Tahfiz Qur'an, Hadith, and 9 International Languages ​​proudly welcomed a visit from the Japanese Consul General. The visiting Japanese Consul General was represented by Mr. Zainuri and Mr. Nakagome Kota. They were present to provide important information about scholarship opportunities in Japan and introduce Japanese culture to the students.

A Japanese dance performance opened the event, bringing the atmosphere to a uniquely Japanese cultural spirit. The students were enthusiastic about the performance, which served as the perfect opening to the day's activities.

Japanese Consul General Explains Scholarships in Japan

Following the dance performance, the event continued with a presentation session by Mr. Nakagome Kota and Mr. Zainuri. They detailed the various scholarship opportunities available to Indonesian students wishing to pursue their education in Japan. Mr. Kota emphasized the importance of international education and how Japan is opening its doors to talented students from around the world to study at top universities. Meanwhile, Mr. Zainuri provided insights into the requirements, selection process, and tips for successfully obtaining the scholarship.

Students' Enthusiasm in the Question and Answer Session

The students attentively followed the session. Their enthusiasm was even more evident during the question-and-answer session. Many students actively asked questions, demonstrating their interest in Japanese education and culture. In fact, so many students wanted to ask questions that some didn't get a chance.

Hope for the Future

This activity not only increased the students' knowledge of study abroad opportunities but also broadened their understanding of Japanese culture and etiquette. Through this visit, it is hoped that more students will be motivated to pursue their dreams and explore study opportunities in Japan. The event concluded with the presentation of souvenirs from the Islamic boarding school to representatives of the Japanese Consulate General as a token of gratitude for their visit.
