YAHQI Students Return to the World: Thanksgiving for the Sending of 4 Students Abroad
The Indonesian Quran Hafidz Foundation (YAHQI) has achieved another milestone by sending four students to three countries. They will participate in international programs in three different countries (Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand). This is a special occasion, marking the fourth time YAHQI students have traveled abroad.
They are Ukhti Dita and Ukhti Nada, who were selected for the Santri Mendunia Program. The program gives participants the opportunity to visit historic Islamic sites abroad. They are also invited to visit the largest Quran printing press.
Sisters Niza and Laila, delegates in the Indonesian Youth Action (IYA) Program, are international programs that will foster participants' critical thinking skills and hone their leadership and teamwork skills. Both programs will take them on an adventure to gain experience in three different countries: Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
Expanding Insights and Sharpening Skills
Through this program, students are expected to broaden their perspectives and insights, utilize each experience as a lifelong resource, and hone the skills they have learned at the Islamic boarding school. This international experience provides an opportunity to become students who are different, special, and globally competitive.
Motivation for Other Students
It is hoped that the departure of these four students will inspire all other YAHQI students. This golden opportunity proves that the dream of gaining knowledge and experience abroad is not impossible. With determination and hard work, every student has the opportunity to follow in their footsteps.
