Wow, New Student!

On July 31, 2024, the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School held a welcoming ceremony for its new students. Several days prior, the committee had made various preparations to welcome the new students, including a display of yellow books, a Quranic verse test, and much more.

On the day itself, the officers were ready at their respective positions. They helped carry items, checked the completeness of items and documents, and even helped organize items in the cupboards. Everyone had to be totally committed.

The welcoming ceremony for the students only started at 8, but the guardians had already arrived at 7. It seemed like the parents couldn't wait to send their daughters to boarding school. Alhamdulillah, the event proceeded smoothly, starting with the MC's opening remarks, the students' performances, and Abuya's guidance. The guardians also read a statement declaring their daughters' entrustment to the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School. At the end of the event, Abuya closed with a prayer and a handshake with the guardians.

Introductory Period or INTRIBAQI

As in previous years, all new students will undergo an introduction period, known as INTRIBAQI (Introduction to YAHQI Students). New students will gain valuable knowledge about the history of the Islamic boarding school, Quranic recitation, basic Islamic jurisprudence, and also learn about the etiquette of a student. They will also have fun playing games provided by the committee.
