Structured Tahfidz Program

TAHFIDZ

At YAHQI Islamic Boarding School, tahfidz is not just a memorization target, but part of the process of character building and closeness to the Qur’an.

The tahfidz program is structured and gradual: starting from the habit of tilawah, daily deposits, to continuous murojaah. Students are also equipped with an understanding of Ulumul Qur’an, Tajwid, and Qira’ah Sab’ah, so that their memorization is not only strong verbally, but also solid in understanding.

With intensive guidance from the musyrif and a consistent monitoring system, we shape students into hafizh who are disciplined, tough, and have Qur’anic morals.

Strong Leadership

Leadership character building is not just a theory, but also done in everyday life.

All Santri are guided to be responsible with the mandate they get, and active to take a role. OSQI (YAHQI Santri Organisation) which is also a forum for students to hone their leadership skills. The students will learn how to manage themselves and their surroundings where students will be trained to think critically to deal with existing problems.

In addition, santri are also trained to build a mentality of success: positive thinking, resilience, courage to face challenges, and not giving up easily in the learning process and in life.

At YAHQI Islamic Boarding School, mastering foreign languages is not just subject matter studied in class, but has become part of the daily life of students.

Every day, students communicate using four international languages: Arabic, English, Japanese, and Mandarin. Starting from waking up tahajjud until bedtime at night, the students are obliged to use foreign languages.

In addition to the four main languages, YAHQI also provides five additional languages namely, Russian, German, French, Spanish and Korean, for students who want to expand their linguistic abilities.
