Awesome! Two YAHQI Students Depart for Malaysia
On November 27, 2023, two YAHQI students departed for Juanda Airport in Surabaya with great enthusiasm. Sisters Lia and Vivi were selected as awardees for the short study program in Malaysia after a lengthy selection process that undoubtedly took up a lot of time and effort. Finally, all their hard work and dedication paid off with their departure to Malaysia.
The two YAHQI students are participating in a short study abroad program, a Changemaker Indonesia program that offers a rare opportunity to learn about the education system and culture abroad. During the program, Ukhti Vivi and Ukhti Lia will participate in various scheduled activities. They will visit several renowned universities in Malaysia, providing a valuable opportunity to see firsthand the differences and similarities in international learning methods. They will also visit famous Malaysian landmarks, such as the Petronas Twin Towers and Batu Caves, which will undoubtedly broaden their experience and insight.
Not only that, Ukhti Vivi and Ukhti Lia will also participate in a conference simulation, which is an essential part of this program. They will practice public speaking and even have the opportunity to speak at a conference session, which is a valuable experience in developing their communication skills.
This was the first time YAHQI students participated in a short study abroad program, and although the program only lasted about five days, they gained many valuable insights and experiences. This experience not only broadened their knowledge but also opened up new opportunities for their future. Wow, that's amazing! Hopefully, other YAHQI students will soon follow in Ukhti Vivi and Ukhti Lia's footsteps. Best of luck!
