OSQI Presidential Candidate Debate: A battle of ideas between OSQI candidates
The atmosphere at the Al-Araf and Al-Furqon dormitories was different than usual. Both dormitories witnessed the OSPA (YAHQI Islamic Boarding School Student Organization) Pre-General Election Debate—a forum for a contest of ideas between OSPA Presidential Director candidates who are ready to lead with a new vision and spirit.
This debate is a crucial part of the OSPA presidential and director election process. Its purpose is not only to introduce the vision and mission of each candidate, but also to provide a forum for them to discuss important issues relevant to the development of the Islamic boarding school organization.
From the Al-Araf Dormitory, four candidates appeared who were ready to show their best abilities:
- Isnah Muthoharoh
- Salwa Dwi Nur Jannah
- Nurul Mawaddah Dwi Ramadhani
- Yasyifi Amelia Bilal Yuliani
Meanwhile, from the Al-Furqon Dormitory, three candidates participated enthusiastically:
- Faza Hestyana Rachmadita
- Winda Putri Novita Sari
- Puji Luluk Deniati
In this debate, each candidate was given the opportunity to present the ideas and work programs they would promote if elected President Director of OSQI. They outlined concrete steps to improve the organization's quality, strengthen solidarity among students, and create a more active and productive dormitory environment.
Furthermore, the question-and-answer session with the moderator and audience was a particularly engaging experience. The candidates were challenged to answer critical questions and defend their arguments. This opportunity truly demonstrated the presidential director candidates' quick thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
