Stepping into the Mandate: 2 Months with the OSQI President

OSQI Presidential Election: Two months have passed since Ukhti Rosyida assumed the role of OSQI President. She has carried out this mandate with a strong sense of responsibility, shouldering a heavy burden: mobilizing the pesantren’s organizations, leading programs, and setting an example for the students.

Decisive and Focused First Steps

Sejak awal kepengurusan, OSQI langsung bergerak cepat. Salah satu program yang dicanangkan oleh Ukhti Rosyida adalah pemanfaatan waktu setelah tahajud dengan kegiatan positif seperti mengaji, senam, dan lainnya. Program ini kini telah menjadi rutinitas para santri.
Selain itu, Ukhti Rosyida juga mendorong santri untuk aktif dalam setiap gemblengan bersama Abuya serta memanfaatkan kesempatan tersebut untuk melatih kemampuan public speaking.

Challenges Along the OSQI Journey

Not every program ran smoothly. Some faced obstacles due to the packed schedule of the pesantren. However, thanks to good communication, a spirit of teamwork, and unity among the directors, these hurdles were gradually overcome, allowing the programs to get back on track.

Support and Hopes from the Students

Many students feel that OSQI’s leadership over the past two months has been more active and approachable.

“If we have complaints, it’s now easier to convey them directly,” said one student.

Whenever there were issues among the directors, Ukhti Rosyida was always quick to find appropriate solutions. This has made OSQI feel more solid and able to move forward together.

End of Term (June – July 2025)

July 2025 marked the end of Ukhti Rosyida’s term as OSQI President. In her farewell speech, she expressed gratitude and appreciation to all the students and mentors for their support, cooperation, and enthusiasm.
She also reminded everyone that OSQI should continue to be an active, united, creative, and inspiring organization for all students.

OSQI Presidential Election (August – September 2025)

As a new period begins, the candidates for OSQI President from each dorm have delivered their spirited speeches:

• Ukhti Farida sebagai Presdir OSQI Kamar Al-A’rof
• Ukhti Bilqis sebagai Presdir OSQI Kamar Al-Kahfi
• Ukhti Fida sebagai Presdir OSQI Kamar Al-Furqon

They confidently presented their visions and missions to bring OSQI to greater heights, ready to lead and become role models for all students. The election process was carried out peacefully and democratically, reflecting the maturity of the students in practicing democracy.

Abuya’s Message: Leadership Is a Mandate

Dalam sesi penutup, Abuya menyampaikan pesan penuh hikmah tentang kepemimpinan. Beliau menegaskan bahwa pemimpin sejati bukan hanya pandai berbicara, tetapi mampu bekerja nyata, menjadi penggerak kebaikan, dan teladan bagi orang-orang di sekitarnya.
Abuya juga berpesan agar para pemimpin selalu rendah hati, ringan tangan, dan mengutamakan kepentingan bersama.

The event concluded with a group photo session featuring the newly elected presidents, pesantren administrators, and OSQI advisory council. This moment marks a new beginning full of hope, aiming to make OSQI even more dynamic, united, active, religious, and impactful within the pesantren environment.
