A small gift for Mother: Tasmi' Al Qur'an
Tasmi Al Quran is certainly not a foreign term in Islamic boarding school life. Tasmi is an activity of memorizing the Al-Qur'an.
On December 22, Mother's Day, the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School, Ngasem Bojonegoro (Hujroh Al A'raf) witnessed the historic moment of Tasmi Al Quran Bil Ghoib 30 Juz by Ukhti Amalia which also became an offering for her beloved mother.
Tasmi' was opened with wasilah with all the students, which was then continued with the reading of the Al-Qur'an starting from Juz 1 to Juz 30. The musyrifah and students took turns listening to each reading of Ukhti Amel.
Ukhti Amel started her journey to memorize the Koran at the age of 8 at one of the TPQs in Ngasem village. This struggle certainly cannot be separated from the big role of her mother, who always supports and motivates Ukhti Amel to memorize the Koran. Even though the house is far away, the mother on her bicycle faithfully takes Ukhti Amel to learn the Koran every afternoon while bringing snacks. The memories were so memorable that Ukhti Amel couldn't hold back her emotion when she presented this tasmi' to her beloved mother.
Exactly on December 22, Ukhti Amel, Alhamdulillah, succeeded in completing Tasmi Al Quran bil ghoib 30 Juz. Don't forget the closing prayer to be the end of this Tasmi' event. Ukhti Amel's parents and close relatives were also present, including Abuya and Umi. Abuya provides guidance and motivation to the students. Abuya advised the students to be more active in maintaining their memorization. The hope is that one day he will be able to carry out Tasmi' in Mecca and Medina with his parents.
A touching atmosphere enveloped the entire event. Many students shed tears, feeling the struggle and enthusiasm radiating from Ukhti Amel.
.
We hope this event inspires the students to continue drawing closer to the Quran and become consistent memorizers. The YAHQI Ngasem Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School will continue to be a platform for the next generation of Quran and Hadith students.
