On June 26, 2024, the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School received a visit from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. The visit by K.H. Nur Hanan was part of a series of steps to obtain an IJOP SPM (Muadalah Educational Unit Operational Permit).

The YAHQI Islamic Boarding School has been applying for an IJOP Muadalah since 2022. At that time, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bojonegoro Regency and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of East Java Province directly visited the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School.

An IJOP, or Islamic Boarding School Operational Permit, is proof that the Islamic boarding school has received government recognition, allowing it to independently issue diplomas to its students. Diplomas from Islamic boarding schools are also valid, and students can use them to apply to higher-level education, such as university.

This also addresses the concerns of some guardians of students who are still worried that their sons and daughters will not be able to continue their formal education.

"After the SPM operational permit is issued, female students need not worry about completing their education at the YAHQI Islamic Boarding School up to the Ulya level. This is because their diplomas are guaranteed through the Islamic Boarding School Law and KMA No. 31 of 2020," said K.H. Nur Hanan.

This should give parents greater confidence in Islamic boarding school education. It emphasizes more than just religious instruction and etiquette. Students can also play various important roles in society in the future. Therefore, there's no need to worry about their children's future at Islamic boarding schools.
